library art gallery

Walking in to the library art gallery I instantly saw many painting and colorful things. I didn’t think that we had such beautiful art on campus. I am not one to just want to look at art all day but this art gallery was very interesting. There were things in there that were just beautiful. When I walked in there it gave me a sort of peaceful feeling. It was like the art was a form of therapy.  i now have a greater appreciation for art and how it is. I before did not really think much about art. After going to this gallery I would not mind going to another one to see what is in it. I am mostly a sports person and really did not do anything outside of that. By going to this gallery it kind of opened my eyes to something new and let me experience something different. I have gained lots o f different information from this gallery and I will be attending more in the future. Going to this gallery opened my eyes to see that there is more to the world than just sports. Sports in its self can also be an art. But it often overshadowed by other things. I had a great experience at this art gallery and I will be looking into more art as I move forward. I feel that art can bring about a different way of looking at things and open your eyes to look deeper into thing and not just look at the surface level.

Eaglepalooza

My first live concert at Eaglepalooza was very fun. The performer was Melanie Fiona. She seemed to be a real cool and down to earth person. I felt like she was making a connection with the crowd not just giving us a performance. Hearing her in person was a very great experience. I though she gave us her best performance. I also did not realize that she was from the islands. She did a song with a sort of Jamaican feel too it that sounded really cool. She is also a very very pretty lady in person. She gave us a great performance that lasted for about an hour and a half. She started at 7:30 and stopped around 9:00. I personally enjoyed her performance very much and would not mind seeing her again in concert. I love how passionate she is about her performance. Eaglepalooza was also our Friday night pep rally for the game. They had many other things that went on that night also.You will hear the pride of southern miss also when you attend I feel that this event was a success as it is every year. I would recommend that anyone in the town around the time of this event attend, I can assure you a good time.  Do not be the one hearing about it like you are now. Mark your calender now and make sure you attend this fun filled even that takes place down town, in front of Taste bar and lounge for a very fun filled night.
